Arizona
I came to Arizona on Jan. 10th, to attend a convention for wedding photographers at the Carefree Resort and Villas in Carefree, Arizona (which features intersections like “Ho Hum and Easy Street).
I am super excited about applying what I learned at the convention with all my 2009 couples!
Here is a lit-up saguaro cactus at the entrance of the resort.

These are the villas. It seems like all the architecture in Arizona looks like this-adobe structures that match the earth.

We went to a town called Cave Creek, which is very old western style. Here’s my husband and our “Lil’ Buckaroo.”

Some of the greenery.

This was at the resort. I wanted to experiment with light and shadows.

This photo was taken at noon.

Vu and Julia’s reflection in the pool.

Lens flare.

Saguaro cactus. These are all over the desert.

Our nightly view.

Something I didn’t expect to see in the desert.

Are you looking for a wedding photographer? We still have openings for 2009! Check out Rabbat Photography.

Hi Danielle!
Your photos are incredible & stunning! Keep it up!
Hey Danielle,
Did you use the Bebbs’ categories of flare, lines, unexpected, etc. to as inspirations for your image choices for the blog post?
I love that reflection picture with Vu and Julia. It gives me a bit of vertigo which is something that I rarely experience when looking at a picture.
Thanks to you and Vu for being our hot models!
Michael
Hi Michael,
I think in a way I did!! Since we were modeling for the session I couldn’t do the exercise, but I wanted to so badly so I guess when I took these pictures I was keeping their categories in mind
We can’t wait to see the photos from the session!
Finally got a moment to say hi…and take a peek at your photos….very nice…one day I’m going to break down and get a camera…lol Sounds like I’ve got lots to learn. You have a great eye for pictures and were great to have around…brightened up the campfire at nights. Let’s see more! lol
